Surrounded by sea, desert and mountains, Ra’s Al Khaimah is one of the most beautiful natural areas of the country, the history of which literally loses itself in the mists of antiquity. It is characterised by numerous natural springs, located near the mountains of In Sh’am, which make the country unusually rich in vegetation, and these efficaciously support agricultural activity, which is also flanked by rich fisheries and stone quarries.

There are also several archaeological sites of great interest in this territory, such as the Palace of the Queen of Sheba in the Shimai to the north of the country.

It is a highly fascinating destination for international tourism, which for many years has rewarded Ra’s Al Khaimah’s entrepreneurial commitment, which is enriched by traditional warm Arab hospitality.
