DININGWith an Argentinean Grill, an Oriental themed outlet, a luxurious Thai restaurant and a comfortable lounge serving homemade pastries, The Palace - The Old Town, offers an array of food and beverage options from across the globe.
Asado, the lively Argentinean Grill, serves premium meat cuts prepared in Asado Criollo-style on an open Parrilla grill in the centre of the restaurant. Featuring an a la carte menu as well as an extensive beverage menu and a Saturday “Open-kitchen Lunch”, the restaurant provides live entertainment, while tango classes are also available on Sundays.
Ewaan is an all-day dining establishment serving a blend of Oriental Cuisine. Shisha facilities are also available on the Ewaan terrace. The décor complements the overall Arabian look and feel of the hotel. Attached to the restaurant is Ewaan lounge that has traditional Arabic tents overlooking the pool adding to the magical Arabian Nights experience.
Thiptara, the elegant Thai restaurant, serves Royal Thai cuisine in a contemporary setting with emphasis on Bangkok-style seafood. The restaurant offers breathtaking views over Burj Dubai Lake and Dubai Fountain and has a comfortable terrace for al fresco dining in cooler climes.
Adjacent to Thiptara is FAI, a cocktail lounge. Meaning fire, FAI offers the perfect juxtaposition between fire and water, with torches lighting the area, which is surrounded by the Burj Dubai Lake. Serving signature in-house beverages and with its unique location overlooking Dubai Fountain, FAI is fast becoming one of Downtown Dubai’s social hotspots. Interesting additions such as the menu, ‘shut the gate,’ serves as a game which two or more can enjoy. The objective of the game is to knock down all the gates on the board with the number reflected on the dice rolled. If a person succeeds in bringing down gates with no more or no less than the numbers on the dice, each time they play, they are declared winners and the other has to pay the bill, as per the rules.
